Sebuah kata yang sederhana, familiar dan diminati mayoritas manusia. Terkenal. Sebagian orang bahkan berjuang dengan sepenuh kemampuannya, walaupun sebagian yang lainnya sudah mulai menyerah. Berhenti berharap dan bahkan berhenti mencoba. Ironi, untuk sebuah kata yang fana namun menjanjikan.
Bagi sebagian orang kata tersebut adalah kata yang menjadi tujuan terakhir hidupnya. Tanpa mengingat bahwa dirinya adalah manusia yang hakikatnya mati dan terlupa. Selain nabi dan tuhan, saya belum bisa menyebutkan nama manusia yang lebih terkenal. Mari berhenti sejenak dan mulai bertanya.
Siapakah manusia yang paling terkenal di muka bumi?
Seberapa lama manusia dapat terkenal? Ratusan tahun? Ribuan tahun? Atau Jutaan?
Siapa yang mampu menjamin kita semua dapat menikmati sebuah kata ketenaran?
Apakah saya terkenal setelah mati?
Jangan lupakan pertanyaan paling penting:
Jika sudah terkenal. Lalu apa?
Banyak sekali orang yang terlarut dengan fatamorgana dari kata terkenal. saya mungkin salah satunya, atau dirimu juga? Mungkin kita harus mencoba untuk menjelajah waktu lebih jauh untuk bertanya. Apa yang akan kita lakukan setelah terkenal? Apa yang kita cari dari ketenaran? Ketika pada akhirnya semua akan mati dan terlupakan. Tapi tunggu, mungkin kau mau mencalonkan diri sebagai Tuhan selanjutnya. Terkenal? Pasti.
Kita hanya sibuk mencari apa yang kita inginkan teman, namun terkadang lupa apa yang kita butuhkan. Asumsi saya, sepertinya kita harus fokus pada bagaimana menanggapi ketenaran. Bukan cara untuk menjadi terkenal. Siapa yang mampu menjamin kita dapat meng-handle ketenaran kita. Belum tentu, dan menurutku tuhan tidak akan segan memberikannya ketika kita memang sudah pantas untuk mendapatkannya. Seperti kata orang yang beragama lainnya, “fokuslah untuk memantaskan diri, daripada mengejar yang tak pasti”.
Menyebalkan dan terdengar sedikit munafik. Tapi memang benar adanya. Hidup hanyalah sebuah jalan lurus yang sederhana, kita saja yang membuatnya berliku. Egois, munafik, tapi memang seharusnya begitu. Jika tidak, kita tidak akan berada di bumi sebagai manusia, mungkin kita berada di surga?

Jika kau sudah menyerah. Tak apa, belum tentu kita dapat menerimanya dan belum tentu itu yang kita butuhkan. Namun jika kau ingin mencoba, juga tak apa. Hanya saja, jangan jadikan kata tersebut sebagai tujuan. Untukmu yang belum menyerah, berjuanglah kawan. Tuhan akan memberikan yang kita butuhkan, bukan yang kita inginkan. Indahnya, hal tersebut akan datang di waktu yang tepat. Kau hanya perlu percaya.
